Case study: five 500 m² greenhouses at Songon with the PDC2V (World Bank)

In October and November 2024, we delivered five 500 m² greenhouses at Songon (Côte d'Ivoire), as part of a programme supported by the World Bank.

The framework

The PDC2V, a World Bank-funded project, supports growers through cost-shared financing: the grower invests, the programme tops up. Within this framework, an independent grower entrusted us with five 500 m² greenhouses at Songon.

The build

Turnkey: structures, full installation by our team, greenhouses delivered ready to grow in — all completed over October and November 2024.

Today

The grower mainly produces chilli, tomato and cucumber — market vegetables grown sheltered from open-field hazards. Five 500 m² greenhouses also mean organisation: crop rotation between greenhouses, staggered harvests, a market supplied continuously.

What this project proves

That the greenhouse-plus-support model also works in institutional programmes, and that our greenhouses meet donors' specifications. Grower, cooperative or programme: describe your project through this site's form — we know these set-ups.
